Help please! My friend needs to have her power windows fixed, her car is a mazda 323 and we've tried going around different car repair shops within our vicinity and naku we were rejected. She even tried going to mazda and they said they don't have the parts to replace it. Maybe you guys know of a place where we can be accommodated? We haven't tried banawe yet. I would appreciate your suggestions, thanks!

PAWSACAT: Here's the cut and paste message I posted last friday on pajero Gen2.5 forum. I heighly recommend this shop. You may want (or your friend) to call first the shop and discuss your problem. I'll be back on their shop next week to fix my civic power window too.

Guys, Share ko lang...
I have my rear door power lock and driver side window mechanism repaired this morning. The left side rear door lock is no longer working in auto power mode and have to engage/disengage it manually. The driver side window is out of alignment which damage the rubber on the window side and most cases the window is very difficult to open/close as the glass hit the rubber.
I brought it this morning (7am) at Zaldy's Trading located at the corner of apolinario st and SLEX extension near buendia. They found my door lock motor busted and they replaced it with exactly the same surplus unit. The window mechanism was aligned by balancing the glass riser. By 8am all is done and I paid 1,400. I recommend this shop as they knew what they are doing and understand the value of time as they assigned 2 of their technician to work on my rig. They gave me 3mos warranty and promise that they will not charge me should i have problem on their work during its warranty period. The shop specializes on power lock, power window, wiper and door lock for all kinds of car. Tel # 8439459, 09194232038. You won't miss the shop as its along the SLEX.

May 30th, 2005 09:45 AM #5If you reside somewhere in the South, There is a guy I go to in Alabang Town center who does an excellent job on repairing power windows. He's done repairs on my 2 cars and some of my friend's cars and never has there been a back job. You can go to the Auto supply shops beside the church at the back of Alabang Town Center and ask around for Ver from any technician/mechanic in those shops that you meet. They'll point you to his direction.

Hay salamat, I'll tell her to call within the day. Her driver side window has a tendency to slip down a bit (it's kind of misaligned already) and she can't use the autopower mode, you have to use your hands to push the window up!
(it's distracting especially while driving). Only the front passenger side window is working, the mechanism for the rear windows I guess, is busted too.

May 30th, 2005 10:13 AM #8He's a freelance technician whom all shop mechanics/technicians in that area recommend if they're unable to do the repairs themselves. I have his no. pala. You can send him a text message to inquire. 09198536933. Highly reliable and trustworthy person. Had my CD changer repaired by him also. left my unit with him, he calls me the next day and reinstalls the unit, repaired and restored like new.

> My friend called already. Estimate is at 1,500 and told her that mazda parts are rare to find these days. If it's unrepairable he might just change the whole mechanism
