by itself, not much gained. But used with hi-performance sparkplugs & ignition coil & ignition controllers... there is a measurable gain.

overall performance nito is advantage ka if with the right combo like the coils , plugs , amps , and right size of wires . u need a good spark to run it well , based on dyno's among a lot of project cars , it has and been proven to give HP w/c is noticeable at certain RPM's .

If your engine and ignition system is basically stock (basic bolt-ons, no forced induction or heavy tuning, etc...) just stick to the stock plugs and wires. If ever you change, try to research on a good brand since not all wires are what they claim to be.

Based on my experience you may only notice improvement at high speeds. But on normal day to day driving it's not noticeable.

there is no accurate or standard base HP gains . Factors to consider in order to have or gain the max potential of ur car is to have it tuned up and in tip top shape . Pretty much in very good condition and u will see lots of powers from basic bolt ons . Sa cables n plugs on a very good condition motor , maganda lang ang spark ng ignition mo .

July 11th, 2003 12:44 AM #9hi tension wires ang tawag sa wires na yun. you want to upgrade to wires that have least resistance. Usually, dinadaan sa sive ng wires but thats not an accurate measure. Dapat check mo kung ilang ohms the lower the better.
Use it together with spark plugs and coils. Sa spark plugs pwede lakihan ung gap since more electricity is available. this would produce a bigger spark. thus better combustion and better performance.
Cheap alternative which I use on my drag car is a solid core wire which I made myself. 0 ohms ito. no resistance so full power ng coil punta sa spark plug. Ang Plug gap ko kasya little finger sa laki. Down side is, don't use radio na and di pwede sa computerized cars cause such high volts produce a lot of interference. Pati cell di magamit when the engine is running.

in addition, use high tension wires if you have a high end stereo set-up.
One can only hope.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
