Im currently using 2SM battery for my Innova diesel and the battery supplier told me to change it to 3SM instead since my car is already 10yrs old. Btw im using amaron battery is it necessary to upgrade car battery from 2SM to 3SM for my vehicle?

Amaron ba nagsabi? Style ata talaga nila yan eh. Diko lang alam para ba kumita or para ba masabing tumatagal batt nila.

Tatry ko din sana yang Amaron sa <4year old ko na sasakyan, kaso di daw 24 months warranty kapag yung stock size na 2SM kinuha ko, dapat daw yung 3SM para maging 24months. Motolite nalang binili ko.

No not directly from Amaron but from their dealer who also sells Motolite battery. Yes that is also what I suspect when they told me about upgrading it.

Bought Emtrac Battery for my daily beater. Same price as Amaron, and was told by the shop owner that it's the same as Amaron but the warranty is 4 months longer (17 months for Amaron; 21 months for Emtrac).

i checked yun "about us" of both emtrac and amaron. i dont see any relationship...except assembled in india..

21months is still better than 17months..

So I bought Motolite Gold 3sm last June 2019. When I checked the battery with voltmeter in the morning, it reads 12.52v. Is there something wrong?
