Stand up and be counted....
Hi all,
This is a thread dedicated to all classic cars. Be it pre-war, post-war, 50s, 60s, 70s, old school, American, German, Japanese...Hotrods...you name it.
Lets consider this the official unofficial Classic Car section (now in the form of a thread).
We need to keep this thread going so we can warrant our own section (NOTE: FEEDBACK SECTION- regarding setting up a classic car section).
But for this to work we need to keep posting pics of our favorite cars...discuss topics on our favorite cars...even talk things like tech and detailing. Anything goes kasi thread lang ito and there is no Classic car section. It may be difficult but we never stopped that from enjoying cars people tell us are so impractical...So let us show our support for classic wheels...
I am standing up to be counted...Am a mustang freak here...

I am a man of electic taste. In other words, malabo haha
Love american muscle but not all. Same goes for jap old school cars and euro.
Something I'd love to have in my garage someday
am partial to the old datsun fairladys. up until they started making them chunky in the mid-late 80s

October 31st, 2006 07:39 PM #3I am into old school...currently restoring a KP61 (originally 62 but engine was upgraded to 4K) na 1981 model.
If I have an extra money I'd like to restore an austin mini...convert it to a cooper S.
If I have some more money, I'd like a kit car ford COBRA - shelby copy.
hehehe

ako din medyo eclectic ang taste ko in classic cars. btw - what is our definition of "classic"? for me it's anything 70's or older.
the one thing my favorites have in common are they have some kind of legend or history attached to them:
the Shelby GT500, 427 Cobra, and Daytona Coupe - the cars that put one of my favorite car guys on the map, and made American motorsports an international force
the Ford GT - another absolutely dominant car in motorsports during its time
the '65 Mustang and '55 Corvette - the beginnings of two legends
Ferrari 250 GT California - fell in love with this car watching FB's Day Off. i also like the 250 GTO
Aston Martin DB5 - the original Q mobile
Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing - completely changed MB's image in the states and a car every kid lusted over

Will wonders never cease with Motolite? Ha ha.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
