300km version so no battery cooling. i guess it's fine if you don't park it under the sun the whole day while you work
4 airbags i.e. 2 front, 2 curtains. no side seat airbags. non-totl hondas usually have 4 airbags also but 2 front, 2 side (no curtains)
rear seat not split fold. could be a deal breaker for some
in-screen a/c controls. very annoying to use
has V2L vehicle to load, so the car is one big powerbank

The BYD Seagull just got launched with an introductory price of ₱898,000. Powertrain generates 74hp and 135Nm of torque and has a claimed range of 300km. It has disc brakes front and back with regenerative braking (a la KERS). As expected, it is one of the class leaders at this price point for technology and ADAS (not a lot but still decent).
Bumper-to-bumper warranty is six years or 150,000 km warranty (whichever comes first). Battery and motor warranties are separate, at 8 years or 150,000 km.
EDIT: forgot to mention that the car comes with a wall box and portable charger (at no additional cost).Last edited by Verbl Kint; September 27th, 2024 at 04:00 PM.

September 27th, 2024 07:26 PM #6i want one! state owned ba ang BYD?
vinfast vf3 has too many compromises. seagull is just 200k more and is already a fully functional car i.e. could replace your gasoline car for most trips except offroading and super long-distances

Some people actually believe that there's such a thing as a "private" company in China ... In China, CCP owns EVERYTHING ... that's what communism is ...

Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
