    Have you encountered error code 84 on your sonic?

    Symptoms:

    1. Beeps while driving
    2. ABS light is ON
    3. Code 84 appears
    4. Engine power is reduced (cannot accelerate)

    Temporary fix: turn off the engine for around one minute and restart

    Cause: Unknown

    Frequency: random; every few months

    Can be replicated?: No, AFAIK

    It happened twice after the second PMS, and once so far after the third PMS. We were driving slow on all occasions. Problem occurred even after the sensors were re-calibrated.

    Anyone knows someone from Chevy Philippines so I can report this? Some sonic club members have encountered this too.

    Just an update. Chevy makati cleaned all sensor contacts April last year. Malapit na mag one year pero hindi na naulit ang problem.
