I find it weird for a company to channel leave conversion through Shopeepay...

Why would they do that instead of through the payroll account? Is it some kind of loophole for taxes?

I think it is, my friend's company uses GC to avoid taxes.

Yes taxes. I don't know how it works pero 1st 10 days eh tax free, then 30% tax above that. There are company that asks for receipts named to the company to avoid taxes. Kanya kanyang way to avoid tax.

Malas ko sa Omni rechargeable fan na gusto kong bilhin.

I ordered it from 1 store and it came defective. Returned it and the refund cleared today.

Ordered it again - this time sa Landmark's Shopee store na.
Item arrived a few hours ago. Defective and is even worse than the first one.

Hassle pagrerepack ng item for return.
Buti na lang yung isang pares ng tsinelas na binili ko naka ilang layers ng bubble wrap kaya may naipangbalot pa ako.

Sa mall ko na lang bibilhin.

Just noticed something sa Shopee app...

I always cash in my ShopeePay via Gcash so whenever I cash in, "Payment/e-Wallet, GCash" ang may checkmark by default.

Kahapon, nag-cash in ako nang magkasunod.

The first time, the default "Payment/e-Wallet, GCash" was selected. Everything went as normal.

On the 2nd cash in, however, "Online Banking, Metrobankdirect" na ang naka-check. Nagtataka ako kasi never ko namang ginamit ang online banking option lalo pa Metrobank.

After non parati nang checked by default ang Metrobankdirect. Babalik lang sa normal kapag nag-restart ako ng app by force closing Shopee.

I hope software bug lang ito at hindi security issue.

Bought an item in Shopee and was waiting for it wondering why it wasn't delivered yet when I chat with the seller then saw that seller was on vacation. Lesson learned chat with seller first before adding to cart.

Meron tag a g shopee when the seller is in vacation ah. Makikita mo sa page nila pag in vacation sila. If I remember correctly the app will warn you if the seller tagged themselves in vacation pag add to cart mo or checkout. Maybe the seller didn't use that option. Which for me is being irresponsible as a seller.

I did not go to seller's page. I just add to cart and made the purchase and when I chat with the seller that is the time I saw the "on vacation" tag from sellers profile in chat.

It is a hit or miss buying from shopee. I myself have encountered items with defect and it will be a hassle to have it returned so I just negotiate with seller to give me a certain refund amount.
