April 12th, 2017 07:58 AM #2661It depends on the brand. When I bought my Vios in 2012, I asked if changing the horn would be OK. My agent said it would void my warranty. So I just had the casa do it even if it was more expensive. Hard-wiring a dash cam would involve cutting wires, which would be a similar case. Ask your dealer before proceeding.

April 12th, 2017 07:17 PM #2663G1W CB is still a good buy today. The Yi has superior video quality though. Just remove the the cam when necessary.
This I can say, the chipset of that CDRking is super old. I would never recommend as dashcam below 2.5-3k. You will eventually replace it because it broke or because of it's horrible quality.
