March 14th, 2014 02:15 PM #11Wow dami replies hehe. Thanks sa mga input. Wala naman talaga ako planong mag HID ngayon. Baka next few years na.
May few questions pa po ako.
1. How long does the H4 Osrom Bulb lasts? May nakita po ako dito sa sulit P1,300 Osram Halogen Bulbs - Brand New For Sale Philippines - 35097480
2. How much po yung stock bulb for civic ek? ano po yung brand nito and price? and how long does it lasts too?
Thanks!

No offense sir but a properly installed HID+projector will never blind incoming traffic. Baka what your trying to say is yung naka HID bulbs na naka install sa halogen housing. Also if there is no correct projector, walang din pong cut-off yung HL dahil walang shields yung assembly nun.

March 15th, 2014 02:03 PM #14Osram NB or Philips XV is NOT 100% brighter than your stock bulb and I am 100% sure about this.
Pair of DEPO EK headlight is around 3.5 to 5k sa Banawe.
Remove your tint if you have one and get a clear tint, change your bulbs to NB or XV.
Sa budget mo na 1k, get the stock bulbs and DIY buff your headlights, meron ka pa sukli pang merienda.

March 18th, 2014 01:46 PM #19Hi, thanks for the clarification. However, this will not always be true. Iba iba ang height ng sasakyan. And besides, it doesn't matter kung saan nakatutok ang maliwanag na headlight, kapag nakita ko ang mismong headlight na napakaliwanag. Stars in my eyes na yun (wala kasi akong tint sa harap kaya glare is glare). Just my two cents, this will not necessarily be the opinion of other drivers. For me HID hurts kahit gaano kababa ang cutoff and even with projectors. Drivers of tall vehicles with tint will not notice this inconvenience.

March 19th, 2014 11:40 AM #20properly installed HID lighting systems (correct alignment, correct wattage) and OEM HID systems are safe for use on the road. The comment of D3nb3r was in response to the question/discussion of HID systems na plug and play. All lighting systems will cause glare, of course since source ng ilaw yun, say for example nasa apex ka ng road or pag taas mo sa humps. Even halogen lighting systems will do that. Split second lang yun and there are ways to minimize this. Correct alignment is one, another is the right wattage on the hid or even halogen bulbs. On hi-end cars meron auto levelling and even some manual levelling. Right now, there are BMW cars that actually can sense if your lighting system is hitting someone above the hood and it will automatically turn it off, I think Audi also has this technology now. I have cars retrofitted with HID projectors but pag nasa loob ng village or coming over humps, I turn my HL off and just my fogs. I also turn my OFF manually if I see meron nasisilaw pag paakyat ako coming from basement parking etc. My point here is to use it responsibly and I think that applies to all upgrades you want to install in your vehicle.
Not just the engine. It's literally a D-Max with Mazda styling, but everything mechanical is Isuzu....
