September 19th, 2019 02:08 PM #1Hi guys 1st time car owner here sino po ba dito insured with Mercantile Insurance Co.? can you please give feed backs as of now I consider them for the reasons below. But what I am trying to know is your actual experiences getting claims and assistance from them.
I consider them for this following reasons,
1. Premium relatively cheaper than others
2. Deductibles can be waved 3 times in 1 year which is applicable to any casa or non casa repair shops
3. Cost of deductibles is 2000 also cheaper than others.
Thank you guys in advance.

u need to find out how long for them to release LOA, and also inquire at your casa if they are accredited and if they are paying on time.. otherwise, casa will hold your car if they are not paying on time.

October 23rd, 2019 01:12 AM #5Speaking of moneymax, I tried them recently for this year's insurance. They quoted me Mercantile and Mapfre, with near identical premiums. Difference was deductible or participation fee. Mercantile 2k, Mapfre 3k.
Did a quick fb search for Mercantile, read a lot of bad feedback like delayed releasing of LOAs, not sure if it's all 100% real.
Mapfre on the other hand was recommended by my sales agent. Supposedly swift LOA processing and big plus is tied up with my dealer. Downside is the higher deductible.
I suggest you ask around FB, something might come up. Also double check the insurance provider if your casa is accredited by them. Not all are accredited afaik.

Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
