December 30th, 2012 01:06 PM #104The Mag wheels is usually not included in the insurance so he will probably need to pay for that. since there were injuries, they have the right to impound the jeep until the court case can be heard.

sa owner ng hilux, bibili ka ng napakamahal na rims tapos hindi mo idedeclare sa insurance mo is the dumbest thing to do.
inclusions sa insurance is stock only. everything else you buy you have to declare it sa company siguro add ka lang ng minimal fee, that way covered na mga after market parts / accessories na binili mo. and shempre dapat na anticipate na nya na magkakaroon ng accidents nasa pilipinas tayo!
I think kailangan mo pacheck sa insurance kung naka declare yun rims. baka he's just trying to rip the driver off tapos claim sa insurance at the same time.
wala narin magagwa yun hilux owner dahil kahit pigain nya yun driver e wala naman pangbabayad. i think the best thing he can do is, declare sa insurance yun rims, pagdasal nyang wag na inspect, tapos after a month claim nya insurance kunyari hit and run.

TS and the bf seems a happy couple naman, so wag na umasam yung mga iba ryan.
and they look so bagay. ahahay!
pasensya ka na ms. cesz if you were met with quite a barrage of negative reactions here. as you've said ready ka naman so i hope no hard feelings. hehe. there is a shared dislike (kindest word i can think of) here for PU drivers kasi, be it trucks, buses, jeeps or trikes. marami na rin kasi nabiktima at nain-convenience ng mga iyan. at kasama na ako dun pati brother ko. standard sagot lang naman eh kamot ulo. nung nabangga yung brother ko, tumatawad si trike driver kasi manganganak daw si mrs. so the question is why why why??? bakit di kayang mag-ingat? an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure ika nga.
karamihan ng naka-kotse, lalo dito sa tsikot, with some exceptions, eh mga average wage earners or small business owners lang din. at ang pagbili ng sasakyan, at maging accessories or upgrades eh pinag-iipunan talaga. si hilux owner, baka bayad na yung mags pero hinuhulugan pa rin sasakyan. kaya sa mga sagot dito, you can tell marami nakaka-identify kay hilux owner. di ko sya kilala at maaring epal nga sa totoong buhay, pero maaari rin naman na gusto lang nya talaga turuan nya ng leksyon ang in-law mo, or PU drivers in general. put them in their place ika nga. ako nga, though i drive relatively fast at me nakatago man in case of emergency... but still i have my adrenaline in check kasi i always think yung gastusin if ma-involve sa ganitong situation.
reactions here would have been probably different if purely accident lang talaga, which would probably be a rare occurence. natanggal ang gulong? for long drives especially, i make it a point to check the tires and the brakes. me nahulog na mga bukong niyog sa sinusundang truck? make it a point to be always aware of what's in front, sides and behind you. kung me sinusundan ako me kargang lalawit-lawit na kahoy (lumber) o bakal, i try and get out of the lane asap or keep some distance. same with the expressway, if you drive at speed, maintain a pace that will afford you some reaction time kung me bumulaga man sa iyo.
be that as it may, saludo rin naman ako sa in-law mo na di tinakbuhan lahat ng mga nadisgrasya nya... save lang dito nga ke hi-lux owner/driver. for sure sooner or later mag-drive pa rin sya even mailit man yung jeep nya, let this be a lesson na lang sa kanya/sa inyo/ sa atin... an expensive lesson at that. good luck! drive safely.

uhmmm, sabi ko na nga ba medyo "mayaman" din ito sina TS. i can feel it... aww!
kudos na lang ulit kasi mukhang wala naman sa inyo ni bf yung difference of stature nyo.
wag ka matakot mag-try mag-drive. at least, sabi ko nga sa earlier post ko, hopefully you have learned your lesson early on so you can be a good and conscientious driver. okay lang naman paminsan-minsan that you let that inner (speed) demon rip. just know your and your vehicles limit, and how much you can overstep that. try mo muna sa mga wide open spaces, then roads less traveled. hehe.
tama, defensive driving coz almost everyone else is on offensive driving mode. and that may probably include a lot of us here. baka later, kasama ka na rin dun TS. sabi nga kasi, it's a jungle out there... survival of the fittest. you try to be a level-headed motorist, but then you just get taken advantage of. so another of the chicken or the egg question.
Otoh, the 2nd gen mu-x slightly looks like a mazda up front and some interior bits as well but oto...
