Notary public payment is per document no matter how many copies.

1 copy for notary public, 1 copy for insurance, 2 copies for you. You only really need 3 copies but just keep an extra so i recommended 4 copies.

Ok got it, thanks! I just got it notarized na and it cost me 250! Merong isa 100 lang pero naka lunch break, kaya no choice ako.

Even the participation fee. A lot of local car owners demands it from the other party. Which I think shouldn't be the case.

Been thinking about this one a lot lately. In my experience, the other party also asked me to pay for their amortization and parking fee since they "were not able to use the car" after the accident...

The participation fee and the total cost of repair of my car are all shouldered by the other party's insurance (not by him directly). Even though technically hindi right ng nabangga na mag claim ng mga petty fees mula sa nakabangga, ganun na nakasanayan dito.

And when thinking of it, may sense din naman na magclaim ang nabangga. It's an accident, yes, pero meron at meron parin party na may kasalanan and he/she should shoulder all costs.

Just compare it to cases where people go to court to settle their money claims. When you send a demand letter, you can "legally" include all fees incurred during the litigation process.

Yes, I agree with you also. It's an unfortunate event, it's an accident, yes. But still, you can't dismiss those things easily. That's why it's better to talk to the parties involved to come to an amicable agreement.

    if one is frequently accidented...
is it possible, there's something to the driver or the car, that makes it so...?[/QUOTE]

Baka kinonsider or dineclare mo as 3 separate incidents nung mag file ka ng claim?

is that 2K per panel? or is that 2K for each incident?
it should be in the contract, po. read it carefully.

    one accident is an accident.
    two accidents is a coincidence.
three accidents... it's most probably the driver, po.
