Shell V Power Diesel vs Petron turbo diesel?

Switched from Petron Turbo Diesel to Shell V Power Diesel. It may be a placebo...

-The engine sound is more refined, a nicer purr.
-Lost in throttle responsiveness, it's more linear. Less lurch when flooring the accelerator.

I like Shell more because it makes the diesel engine sound much tolerable.

whats the odometer reading? old oil tend to change the engine sound. also injectors can vary the engine sound also. a good fuel comparison is after an oil change and after a full tank with a diesel injector cleaner like techron
