eto lang yung display na nakunan ko after ng trip

from full tank sagad it takes 220 - 240 km bago mawasan ng 1 bar. yan lang yung common na tracking ko

5-6km/L on a 1.6 Fiesta S

90% city/10% highway, medium traffic.
Tires still at 70% tread life, recently changed oil and replaced spark plugs, new air filter.
What do you think is the problem?

Kapantay lang ng 2008 2.4 camry na nagagamit ko on almost the same route. [emoji25]

Your car is actually tracking for you already.

Look at that number - 5.3L / 100 km. To convert that to km/L, just divide 100 by 5.3, which is equivalent to 18.8 km/L.

Cheat sheet:

Tbh, I bought this second hand, but the car's casa-maintained (I have the service records), changed with fully-synthetic oil every 6-7 months. Recently gas'ed up with 91 octane at Shell on two occasions.

Daily route is Pasig, Ortigas avenue, Marcos highway, C5, and viceversa Skyway runs on two weekends. Average speed is 15km/h according to the trip display -- is this the culprit?
My computation is for two weeks for around 300 kms.

Driving style is medium-footed on open roads and light steps on heavy traffic. I never floor the gas pedal because the tripmeter displays upto 55L/100KM even when it's just near-halfway-pressed [emoji28]

And again, the figures are comparable with the 2.4 Camry. So with the same route and same driving habits I should expect them to be the same consumption?

Anyhow, I will have this checked by Casa if it still hasn't improved in the next few hundred kilometers. Thanks!!

Yeah nakakaantok pag gabi (like this one). But I tried it in the morning before, ok lang naman, basta may napapakinggan sa radio. Got 20.8 km/L sa umaga. 😂
