July 24th, 2019 09:20 AM #1Anyone here living in Tagaytay and drive to Makati/BGC for work?
Plan ko lumipat sa Tagaytay para sa climate and less crowding. Pero no idea really about Tagaytay.
Nakapag drive na ako to Dasma (rent car) and ok naman yung SLEX, pero Sunday kasi. Drive to work M-F before morning rush hour, tas mga 2-3pm uwi na. Is this a crazy idea? Mga magkano daily gas, parking, toll?
Any advice would be appreciated. Salamat.

July 24th, 2019 09:29 AM #5i estimate 2 + 2 = 4 hours roundtrip, and roundtrip of at least 800 pesos in toll and fuel alone.
then there's the pagod, the car's wear and tear..
one also has to be familiar with the traffic schedules, lest one get caught in them.
i go there once or twice a week.
it's a chore i do not look forward to, even as it gives me significant income..
having a driver helps a lot in arriving to the destination, feeling fresh.
in our workplace, folks who live that far away, rent a small place near the workplace. they go home on weekends.Last edited by dr. d; July 24th, 2019 at 11:06 AM.

Sta Rosa exit is P175, so that's P350 per day times 20 working days so minimum P7000 a month. Baba lang yun, hindi pa Skyway
BGC parking usually P50 first 3 hours and 50 every succeeding. That is P350 per day unless willing siya maglabas pasok ng car. Konti lang yung parking na mura, baka before 8 am puno na.
I'd say it's crazy to travel that route daily

Kung climate lang. Antipolo na lang.
Walang toll kaso kalaban is ortigas / pasig. Mas malapit pa sa bgc.
