Guys, here's a tip...

It takes a lot of energy to decompose water into hydrogen and oxygen.
What you need is a catalyst.

The secret of Archie Blue design is not the electrolysis itself but the metal
he used.

He used aluminum which yields a lot of hydrogen when reacted with Naoh
He used a 12 volts system so to keep the naoh + al reaction, because at 12 volts, the electrolysis reaction would waste so much heat, the heat is not wasted in his system, but it is used to keep the naoh + al reaction going.

He used a bubbler to keep the liquid moving clearing the sludge.
The heater in his system starts up the reaction and the electrolysis keeps it going.

hello sa lahat.... bago lng ako d2 pero palagi ako nag babasa ng forum d2 nakakatulong sakin ang forum na to pero sa pag kakataon... na ito baka may ma share ako d2. yan design na pinakita ni Mr. Ghosthunter ay tinatawag na smack booster. it is a electrolysis method na seseparate ang 2hydrogen ang 1 oxygen pero ang result at 2HO or HHO pero. ito at dalikado pag nag backfire yung engine ninyo sasabog yung smackbooster. kasi in the trianglular rules of fire there's a 3 needed (fuel, oxygen and ignition) to produce fire or explotion the smackbooster has 2Hydrogen gas and 1 Oxygen Gas. means ignition nalang sabog na. Pero may solution dyan para pure hydrogen ang ma gets mo sa electrolysis mo kasi ang hydrogen from water goes to negative side and Oxygen to positive yan ang solution to separate hydrogen and oxygen kelagan 2 chambers ang electrolysis mo to prevent fire. You are missing the point of using a electrolysis cell similar to the Archie Blue design. It is very compact hence very useful if you have very limited space to use. The potential of a backfire can be minimized by using flame arrester screens.

Designing an electrolysis cell with separate storage for the H2 and O2 is basic elementary chemistry. Unfortunately it will take too much space and it can be inefficient in power vs volume of gas generated. Granted you can add a salt to increase production, it will also increase the corrosion rate of the electrodes.
