Among the big three, the only brands I've tried are Petron and Shell; I loaded up on Petron Diesel Max from the day I got my unit at the dealership, and it gave me the best fuel mileage, at least compared to Shell Diesoline.

Pero may mas maganda pa pala sa Diesel Max, and that's Flying V's biodiesel. My engine ran quieter and had less emissions, apart from giving me outstanding fuel economy. Kaya lang, the other night, naubusan yung suking branch namin ng biodiesel, so I was forced to load up on Petron once again. Naging mas maingay ulit yung makina, tsaka humina ang hatak.

petron, shell and caltex are all blended with 1% biodiesel since last year though nauna ang flying v, seaoil at unioil. marketing strategy na lang talaga at yung location ng pumps nila. - iwas baha - iwas contamination.

sa akin baliktad. natry ko lahat ng big three. then i heard about flying-v's bio diesel. kala ko pa naman mas mataas biodiesel content nila. yun pala pareho lang sa big three. mas maaga lang sila nagrelease. and at that time, cheaper sila by at least 50 centavos.

anyway, perception ko, the best pa rin ang petron diesel max. next would be caltex and tied naman ang shell at flying-v.

parang naging sluggish sasakyan ko sa flying-v pero same lang naman ang mileage and usok. so nung nagpantay na ng presyo, sa petron na lang ako.

would you know kung ilang percent ang content ng biodiesel ng Flying-V? Kasi explicitly nakalagay sa stations nila na "Biodiesel" so it made me think na mas mataas ang BD content nila if not pure.

After Total's takeover of Belgian Petrofina in 1999, it became known as Total Fina. Afterwards it also acquired the French Elf Aquitaine. First named TotalFinaElf after the merger in 2000, it was later renamed back to Total in 2003."

Some users claim that their gasoline line is equal, if not better that its counterparts, esp daw yung mga nasa high end. (Ex. Infinity performs better or equal to V-Power) Yun nga lng, despite the company being big globally, kokonti pa lng ang stations nila as compared to the original Big 3. So ung mga drivers who don't want to have "mixed" brands in their fuel tanks tend to patronize any of the big 3 more.

    Bro.
Experienced ko lang ito ha....it's up to you kung gagayahin mo.
By the way 4ja1 diesel engine ko.

Flying V diesel is cocobiodiesel ?
    Petron DieselMax is Jatropa biodiesel
    Shell biodiesel di ko alam......

    Yun lang po.....

may mas mababa prices if you're willing to risk it....

i tried the "generic" fuel stations...

sa FUEL EXPRESS ako nagpapakarga, prices nila for unleaded is P1.50 lower than the lowest of the Big and Small players combined....

nung tinanong ko saan sila bumibili - depende daw kung sino mababa, unioil, shell or petron. this means same quality fuel....

so far wala naman problem car ko he he he.
