November 4th, 2010 09:25 AM #1I know they're not the same category but they are in the same price range. I've looked around and I'm down to this 2.
what are the pros and cons for each? What kind of driver and what kind of driving is santa fe ideal for? Forester 2.5XT?
thanks for the help!

Forester = Fun and dynamism
Sta Fe (being bigger) = Forester pushed aside Hihihi....
Which would result to Forester = Running away....hehe

Unless you need the extra 2 spaces, then I`d go with the FXT.
After all, for sure, it's all performance you're after ...

Santa Fe: those looking for a comfortable SUV with power would want this SUV.
pros- good fc, luxury, space, extra 2 seats, features
cons- don't really see any cons, probably maintenance?
Forester XT: if you want a fun CUV this is it, when it comes to performance and power nothing can beat the XT in it's class. i'm not saying the Sta Fe is slow, but all other competitors will eat the XT's dust, drag racing and on the track. the hanlding of the XT is just amazing.
pros- power, handling and all out performance
cons- bad fc, plain interior, 5 seats only, 1 casa

+1 on foresterx's review.
If you want all out power and handling, FXT.
You could eventually bump up the power on the Santa Fe with some aftermarket mods, for the power side, but it still won't handle like the FXT.
The single casa is perhaps the major con for me. I can handle the bad fc since it gives me performance to smile about. Ok lang din yung plain interior and 5 seats.
Will wonders never cease with Motolite? Ha ha.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
