September 2nd, 2008 06:21 PM #1hi Sirs,
Am a tsikoteer fan...I always read your forums and other knowledgeable stuffs.
I'm planning to buy a 2002/2003 toyota revo w/ 350K budget a/t (for easy use for my wife as well). This would be our first family car (I have 2 kids). Can you help me guys what model would I consider to (GLX, SR, LXV, VX) w/ the ff:
- market value after years
- fuel consumption liter/km
- performance
- maintenance
- and other stuffs...
Thanks and more power....

A diesel REVO is the best buy.
-GLX is fine but features are very much spartan.
-SR is a better trim with all the claddings, etc. (translation: mas maporma)
But if you can find the last of the Revo line, VX240D, it would be a much much better find.
HTH.

Yup... the VX 240D would be a great find if you can get one... the VX200 ain't bad, either... one of the best picks amongst AUVs in that age range, but it's a definite gas guzzler.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

probably out of topic, but have you considered a Mitsu Adventure instead of the Revo?
at the budget, you can get something which is A/T.
imho, medyo obsolete na kasi revo eh.

But isn't the Adventure also obsolete? Sure binebenta pa sya right now but that body was still used since the late 90's na facelifted lang.

For revo matic, you’ll only have 3 choices between GLX, SR and VX. all of them are gas…..and guzzlers as well. baka magsisi ka lang in the end. there's no revo diesel automatic. you can have both diesel and an a/t in crosswind kung kursunada mo but you have stretch more to at least 400K and up - depends on the condition.

- Adventure a/t diesel (meron po ba a/t na diesel?)
