May 4th, 2010 08:30 PM #1I'm not sure kung meron ng thread about this or kung correct na icompare ang vanette sa L300 versa van. I guess it's enough to show na wala talaga akong idea dito.
Ang gusto ko lang po mga sir malaman kung ano mas maganda sa dalawang unit just incase bibili ako.
advise naman po.
kung may thread na pong regarding dito pa erase nalang po ito and pa PM nalang po ng link. Thanks in advance po

Neither. L300 VV's are slow. It's seats are hard and the air conditioning system sucks !
It's best for business use. If you're using it as a family van, look for others such as Urvans, lite-aces etc. etc.
The Vanette, I really don't know. I THINK, it's prone to overheating. So unless I've been proven otherwise, better if you search for others first. ;)

May 4th, 2010 08:46 PM #3es, sir renzo, family van nga, pangsundo sa anak ko ang main purpose medyo malayo ang school and kasama na din sa use yung outing paminsan minsan. medyo limited budget para sa mas comfortable na van.

A, ok. If you wouldn't mind me asking sir, how much is your budget & how many are you in your family ?
Maybe you could fit in AUV's which would be better than the VV.

May 5th, 2010 10:01 AM #9hmm...for 130k, i think you can also consider korean vans -- kia pregio, hyundai grace, etc. ...i think medyo subok na rin sila -- they seem to be a favorite among the vans for hire here(though lately, pansin ko parang kumokonti na siya; most vans i see now are either the earlier HiAce version or Urvan. Curiously wala ako masyadong nakikitang L300 na ginagawang van for hire. Anyways, going back...) Please do a search on korean vans here in tsikot, parang me narinig kasi ako na "nagkacrack" ung engine ng korean vans
For 130k kasi, i think you'll only be able to get the older models...i'd go for the L300 -- this is based solely on the availability of parts. Di ko sure kung marami pa bang mapag kukuhanan ng parts for the vanette...on the other hand they are still selling brand new L300's, so kalat na kalat siguro ang piyesa.
Please do bear in mind the pet peeve of L300 owners/drivers: the driver's seat gets real hot. Nasa ilalim kasi ata ung engine, and there isn't enough insulation. Sinasapin na lang ng karton....although with that line of thought, pwede rin siguro ung foam insulation na mabibili sa Ace. Crude, but it should work.
pag 9 members, parang bitin pag AUV; you can just barely fit 9 people in one, di pa kasama ug bagahe.

Oo nga. Grabe init nung chair ng L300. Yung a/c naman, sa unahan lang malamig ... sa rear, goodluck nalang sayo. :hysterical:
Tapos, ang bagal bagal pa.
I'd say, go for the lite-ace. Much better.
OT :: Kaya hindi ginagawang for hire yung L300 dahil nga sa mga known complaints niya. Mainit, mabagal etc. etc.
One can only hope.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
