I forgot however to check if their 4m40 pajero was M/T or A/T.
Hmm.. i get around 530kms to a full tank with my 4m40AT purely city driven.

mas magaan ang curb wt ng strada than a pajero..pero mataas ang net capacity at gross-wt ng strada than a pajero..

about the pic--ganyan na ganyan ang local gen2.5 pajero MINUS:

    1. fender mirror
    2. change the side sticker to: 2800 INTERCOOLER TURBO
    3. front bumper overider

The parts for a 4M40 is more expensive than that of a 4D56. 4M40 has bigger displacement so more horses and more horses means more horses to get thirsty but the best is to use both engines in the same road conditions and driving habits to get a more precise fuel consumption comparison. One can say he gets 8km/liter city driving and another can say he gets 9km/liter but the route they take and driving habits are different so you can't really make an accurate comparison.

Can anyone confirm if the new Strada 2.5L CRDi engine is still using the same block as the 4D56? Or the Hyundai Starex GRX 2.5L CRDi?

how does that translate to km/l? Sorry I'm not familiar with the full tank capacity of the field masters. I get around 8.8km/l on my 2door gen 1 montero/pajero AT. It was originally a 2.0 gas then converted to 4d56 turbo intercooler. fast little beast, hehe.

Local Pajero Gen 2.5 with 4M40 looks like this one. But as you can see, this model is the V6 model.

4D56 is more cheaper to maintain because it is more smaller compared to the 2800cc of the 4M40.
