I've driven a Jazz on long trips (2007 model 1.5 engine with a/t). It can manage. In terms of response, its more responsive than a Nissan Patrol diesel on the open road. And the engine makes a nice sound. hehehe.

Anyway, the Jazz is designed to carry 5 passengers PLUS their luggage so your load won't be a problem.
