    Hi. My concern with subaru is maintenance cost and probably the resale value.


    I prefer small/compact crossover due to limited space in our garage. I really like mazda cx-5 though, but price is over my budget.

    Do you think Honda's and Hyundai's maintenance cost will be lower than Subaru? I suggest you read some threads here in Tsikot regarding PMS cost for such brands.

    If resale value is a concern, I guess you have to choose between a Toyota or Honda.

    If ground clearance is a requirement, go with the XV. It has almost the same ground clearance as a Forester or CX5. The HRV sits lower, just a bit higher than a compact car.

    Can we include the price for comparison? I'm just concerned about XV's maintenance cost after warranty. Let's say you will keep it for 10 years.
