March 21st, 2019 09:01 AM #23Montero GT also gets safety tech similar to CRV SX. Iirc, it has autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, etc. Basically most or all of what Honda sensing has.
Prefer the Montero on this comparison, even with the crying tail lights. You can remedy those if you don't like it.

How much is the discounted price of the Montero GT nowadays? 2.1M+ kasi list price. If they offer it around 1.8M or less, good buy yun.

March 21st, 2019 10:35 AM #28I test drived both last September i think sa World Trade. For me i prefer the Montero over the CR-V. I'm a big man, mas gusto ko yung height ng Montero. And also may nabasa ako mas maganda yung may tagtag kaunti, i agree with that. I feel that CR-V would have kalampag in years to come as we have the worst roads in Manila!

Another question to TS, is AWD or 4x4 capability a key requirement? I guess it will be a cost effective option if you look into 4x2 models.
