Ford focus 1.8L hatch vs Mazda 3 1.6L hatch

I'd go for the focus hatch on this one.

they are both heavy cars, but the focus has a slight edge in terms of output, so as sir jhnkvn had pointed out, it will have a better power to weight ratio (and better fuel economy)

in terms of interior, the all-black setup of the mazda3 makes it better than the beige of the focus sedan, but compared to the all-black interior of the focus hatch, I'd take the focus. Ganda ng instrument cluster...

another plus for the focus would be the rear a/c vents

Looks like 2012 will be a very exciting year for cars. Theres the new focus, mz3, elantra, civic for compacts then theres the new rio, accent, swift, yaris for subcompacts. With all these choices coming, I guess its better to wait and worry about which car to get when theres more choices na. Mas magulo nga lang...hehe.

kinompare nila ang new focus at new mazda3, surprisingly panalo ang mazda3 in terms of fuel consumption at build quality. handling nila pareho lang dahil binase daw yung chassis ng mazda3 sa ford focus.
