March 8th, 2011 12:36 PM #1Is it worth to buy this year?
2010 2.2 HYUNDAI Sante Fe R-eVGT or 2011 Montero Sport GLS-V?
Between the two, I would definitely go for SANTA Fe but for the following CONCERNS I had second thoughts fo getting it NOW.
* I have heard news about the NEW Generation Santa Fe coming late 2012 or early 2013 ( so If I would get it now, in 1-2 years time depreciated agad value )
* Mas madali i-benta? ( para kukuha na na naman ng bagong model o variant )
* Reason of getting a MONTERO is kaya nga BAGO.
Please enlighten me with your EXPERT opinions.
Is it worth to buy now the MS or the current SF?

The MS is not new same old body with a new engine that is still inferior to the Santa Fe. Mitsubishi has done what Hyundai has back in 2006...

Montero Sport for Resale Value and Sheer Newness.
Also, the MS doesn't even have a facelift yet. Just an update.
So, time is on your side because it means that there are no replacements in line for the Montero Sport.

Same lang update sa facelift. It's like how the MS slapped a "honeycomb design" on their grill. Tawag doon facelift na

If I were you, buy based on your needs; not something new unless you crave the attention

The Monty has a very classic macho design. It should age gracefully over the years when taken cared of.
I am currently observing the 2SM battery installed on my MU-X, Yuasa brand. Kaka 1 yr lang nito...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
