1. Fuel Efficiency (I know 1.8 vs 1.6, but focus vs lancer?)
2. Maintenance Cost
3. Interior Space / Quality / Tools

The 1.8L engine will consume fuel like a 1.8L engine, no matter what BS the sales agent tells you. So many people got screwed when they bought the Civic 1.8L when they believed the marketing BS stating that "the Civic 1.8L has the power of a 2.0L with the fuel economy of a 1.6L".

September 21st, 2012 05:06 PM #7Syempre power to weight ratio would be an issue parang malaki ung lancer para maging 1.6 baka mahirapan at mag consume ng mas madaming gas kasi mabigat. Pero syempre sa kung traffic syempre lamang 1.6.
Pero sa mga choices ill go for the lancer.

September 21st, 2012 06:44 PM #9Thanks sa mga replies, malaki b a difference ng 1.6 vs 1.8 sa gas consumption? This will be daily Pque to Makati. For example, if same lahat (traffic, driving style), ilang km/l kaya difference? ang mitsu ba every 5K maintenace or same with chevy na 10k?
