I think hindi naman mauhaw basta magaan lang throttle. Yung ginagamit ko kasing 3.2 GLS SE sa province malakas talaga kasi less than 10 mins lang yung biyahe daily back and forth tapos flat out pa palagi kasi medyo mahirap pagalawin from standstill.

If GTV is also good. Medyo loaded compared sa 4x4 Fortuner of that period.

Leaning towards the 2012 Montero GTV right now. Any feedback on parts availability?

hinda naman ata nag SUA yun mga Montero na 4x4 na 3.2L, iba engine nun diba, ang nag SUA yun 4D56 na mga lower variants kasi gumawa ng hocus pocus si Mitsu, kinuha yun engine ng L300 tapos sinalpak sa mga non-VGT Montero na tig 1M++ lang. so avoid those models I guess

Meron din yun, di lang 4D56 ang nagka SUA kuno.

i read the pdf two engines are indicated the 4d56 and the 2.5 VGT. pero walang 3.2L na Montero. for what I can remember when the Montero was launched in 2008, it was proud to say it's using the 4M40 3.2L Engine, or the Pajero CK engine ata. the Pajero CK never had SUA problems.

so hayun avoid nyo yun 4d56 and 2.5D VGT na cases dyaan. get the top of the line Montero 3.2L 4x4 to be sure hehe

Like I said, he can get naman the MT models if he still has doubt about the SUA. And kung totoo nga talaga yan, edi sana it happened na din sa local AT Stradas before pero I think not even a single news spawned about it, eh same engine and tranny lang naman sila aside from the rear body and suspension setup.
