I wonder how these will fare on Baguio with 7 people and their bags.

Many will choose these as their 1st family car. Then pupunta sa Baguio and will be surprised with some of the steep roads and panic.

I doubt they will have any problem. May mga tamaraw pa nga dun na 7k engine di ba? Layo na ng output ng makina for roughly the same weight...

As long as they know how to use Low Mode, Sport Mode or Manual Mode (if available), kahit fully loaded pa, wala naman dapat maging problema sa mga CVT.

Pero kung lagi lang nila iiwan sa D, high chance uminit mga transmission nila and mag limp mode muna sila sa side of the road to cool it down (assuming sa budget tier. Walang connection to radiator din mga transmission nito) wag lang sana masiraan ng transmission

the local tester mentioned that the car was loaded with passengers (#4) and the track had a slight incline.

This is a great example of why many (local?) car review channels are trash.

Aside from not wanting to step on manufacturer's toes, the tests aren't even conducted scientifically.

Wasn't there another review where fuel economy on a certain car's hybrid version was only tested downhill, while the gas counterpart was measured going uphill?
