Since 2019 is the year of the CUVs (all-new Forester, MG and Rav4), why don't we all pit them against each other.

This thread may be helpful especially to first time CUV buyers with a strict budget.

    All New Forester

    All New Rav4 LE

    Honda Crv 2.0S

    Mazda CX5 FWD Pro

    Nissan Xtrail 2.0

You may include other CUVs from the other brands that are not mentioned (Hyundai,MG & etc)

    Let me start the thread..

For me, the bang for the buck is still the Crv. Hindi sa biased opinion since i drive one, but i still feel that it has the complete package against the others.

Actually kagat naman sa lahat (interior, exterior, equipment, handling, safety) except lang for the engine power especially when loaded

I think not all people prefer diesel-fed crossover/s over gas. Also, entry-level diesel crossovers are stripped-down compared to its price-matched gas variant. (Example-CRV 1.6V vs 2.0S)

meron naman android auto 6speakers and reversing sensor. 8sp torque converter. I think thats good enough. 1.545m i think is still reasonable. youre left with some cash for Headlight upgrades and a reversing camera and tpms.

the crv 2.0 S is good also with all the bells and whistle. it just drinks too much milk.

Actually bargain yung 1.545m for the specs but (some) are not quite sold sa brand mismo. It's actually good na nalipat na yung distributorship nila. It's actually a wait and see game for now.

Going to the CRV, sadly that's the hard part. You'll need to use the whole rev range especially when loaded

Its up to us Filipino consumers to kill this product segment, so that mazda, nissan, honda would be forced to bring their diesel cx3, hrv and xtrails here, para naman hinde tayo offeran ng mga korean ng mga bawas bawas na diesel cuv

Kitams na naman oh sa car sales data 2018

Parang tig 100 na lang nabebenta gasoling cuvs ng mga car makers. We consumers are winning the boycott!

Ako sabi ko senyo sa Vienna Austria, one of the local bed and breakfast staff where I stayed in , was parking a diesel cx3 every morning sa hotel

I so cant forget that car, that sound of an engine. And that hotel staff who is just barely in her 20s , parang budget car lang sa kanya shes not proud

Pero how I wish I have a diesel cx3 here in the philippines

parang walang interested sa segment na yan

kasi ang labanan ng cuv gas engines eh dapat nasa 1.1M tops lang

    so that's

    - Ford Ecosport
    - Honda BRV
    - Hyundai Kona
    - Suzuki Vitara
    - Mitsu Xpander
    - Toyota Rush

the CX3, HRV, XV could be included pero 1.3M++ na eh, sa 1.4M++ pede ka na sa Isuzu 1.9 MUX or even the Montero Standard and the bare Tucson CRDi

pede siguro add sa list sa taas ang upcoming Jimny coz it's rumored to be priced at 1.1M territory

even if it's like P5 na lang difference sa gas stations ng price ng diesel vs gas, diesel is very fuel efficient in bumper to bumper traffic

last January 13, nag full tank ako sa Tarlac ng Isuzu MUx ko, ngaun Feb 6 na, may 3 bars pa ako sa fuel gauge. that's considering I traveled like more than a 100KM pauwi pa from Tarlac on that day. pure city driving na afterwards average of 16Km / day. work office

Been a sedan user ever since.

Next time magpalit ako, CUV lang, most likely gas, I hate diesel.

    It's so mabaho and maingay.

Toss coin na lang sa HR-V, CR-V, CX-3, CX-5, XV, Forester.

And that silver RAV4 above, it looks so bland and bare. Even for a based model, hindi dapat ganyan ka pangit (Hello CR-V 2.0).
And how can you call it a RAV4 without AWD or 4WD? so dumb.

malamang hinde lang 4 ang tatanggalin kasi pati A dapat. kasi A stands for All-Wheel

    so Toyota RV na lang

pero ang buset yun CX5, kasi parang ano yun 5WD vehicle, taas ng pangarap di pa nimbento yun ah
