Camry
-Better and more comfy suspension.
-2.5 engine doesnt rely on turbo
-8spd transmission is proven and reliable. used on lexus
-a landcruiser in a sedan guise...maximum reliability 🤠
Accord
-Adujustable dampers expensive to replace.
-Turbo is another thing of concern.
-CVT reliability isnt known yet. nor is the 10spd inhouse honda transmission.
-dash looks nice and roomy
-plenty of cabin space and trunk space

If you have a chauffeur, get a Camry. If you have to drive it yourself, get an Accord.

hmm interesting numbers. the accord is super light, they did it to make it class leading but of course they lessened and sacrificed the insulation.
braking distance is huge partly because bigger rotors and wider tires.

The new Accord 1.5T may not be as quick as the 2.0T model but it is quicker than the previous gen 2.4L model and the rest of the 4-banger NA competition. Honda did a good job of matching well the CVT for this 1.5T model.

I think for the base model comparisons, a quarter of a second difference is negligible in real world applications. What this tells us though that the new car is lighter off its feet.
The 2.0T model is another thing. In the US, the TOTL Japanese midsize makes a big stand in sales against the base model Euro premium compacts (BMW 3-series, Audi A4, Merc C-Class). A comfortable yet sporty/peppy midsize makes a whole lot of sense and it is an advantage in the very competitive midsize market in the US.
