The last-generation Cefiro/Maxima is a car with a cult following in the US. You can't really say the same of the Camry or Accord.
Of course, the Maxima they got there came with the 3.0 liter version of the 2.0 V6, with between 220-250 hp and with an optional SE 5-speed model. Maxima owners often own two or three of them because they like the car so much.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

The Cefiros can go down to as low as 230K-240K for a well worn '97 m/t model... The lowest Camry i've seen was a '97 model at 250K (checked it out agad... hehehe... and it was in shitty condition too, but the mileage was low).Last edited by vinj; January 21st, 2006 at 12:38 PM.

Yeah, maybe I was overstating things a bit, but I just wanted to show what a steal Nissans are. They may not be as good as Hondas or Toyotas overall, but with such hefty discount, they're really worth considering.

January 25th, 2006 01:50 PM #27Thanks guys for all the inputs. Settled on the cefiro. got a 2002 model (old body) with about 25tkms on it. Since 95 octane lang pwede ilagay, Petron XCS plus ang nakikita sa mga stations na may 95 octane aside from the more expensive blaze, velocity.
will be bringing it to big berts for detailingany other thing i should check into with this car?

correct me if im wrong.. they say the dreaded illness of the cefiro vq engine is oil leak.... that shied me away from buying a cefiro. bang for the buck resale value but if i would spend a lot more from just replacing oil seals, i would rather go for an accord.

At the rock-bottom prices they are selling Cefiros, you'd have plenty enough left to fix an oil leak. It's not that hard.
