Ganun naman talaga pag project car. There's a market for people who love to tinker and there's a market for people who like a fully functioning toy out of the box.
My biggest concern with converting Skylines or any car that never came in LHD is the lack of factory-certified parts for the conversion. Always a retrofit this, weld that. If I were to track a 500 whp toy I'd like to make sure its underpinnings are engineered to take that load.

i worked on project cars before
did a b16 to b18c5 swap for a friend
put a 4g63T in a regular lancer
i imagine working on a RHD R34 can be a nightmare
Re RHD to LHD conversion we did trucks not cars so kahit papano i have an idea how ugly conversions are (and it's not only aesthetics that are ugly)

yup aside from putol dashboard lilipat mo lahat ng pedals, steering mechanism
tapos mga tubes ng brake and clutch fluid gawa bago using forming tool
matrabaho and the finished product doesn't look nice
tapos nandun ung kaba sana matibay ung conversion

sa truck kasi di kailangan maganda kasi driver lang naman gagamit
pag kotse mas maselan ang gagamit kaya importante aesthetics
ung mga subic pajero ang pangit ng interior sobra halata ang conversion kaya wala value
so imagining a Skyline R34 project if you don't do it right sayang ung kotse

Mas madali siyempre engine swap kaysa RHD to LHD conversion. You know how ugly it gets sa truck, mas maselan pa pag sports car.
Skylines are super tricky to convert because it was never offered in LHD. So lahat fabricated or galing sa ibang kotse (usually Bluebird).
Mas madali magconvert ng ibang sports car na RHD basta may LHD parts na makukuha. Or better yet bili nalang ng orig LHD kahit mas mahal.

^^^
yes car owners are maselan
we had several subic pajeros dati
nakapili kami ng mga maganda itsura (exterior) thinking gagawing personal service
pero when you're in the car it just feels yucky
nasa right side ng steering wheel ung signal light switch (wiper nasa left)
ung pindutan ng shifter nasa kanan... and other stuff... it just doesn't feel right
di na namin ginamit ginawang company serbis nalangLast edited by uls; January 15th, 2020 at 11:18 AM.

A friend complained before of his converted Pajero. Hassle daw sa maintenance.
Will wonders never cease with Motolite? Ha ha.
