November 26th, 2017 04:25 AM #1I am planning to buy my first car. I am on a tight budget so I want to be wise and practical in choosing.
Which option is the wisest? (Given a budget of 300k to 400k cash)
1. Cash - a 5 to 10 year old second hand sedan
- Lancer EX - GTA or M/T?
- Civic FD
2. Finance - brand New sedan (40 to 50% DP)
- Honda City E CVT variant
- Corolla Altis G M/T
- Hyundai Elantra Base M/T
3. Finance - a 2 to 4 year old second hand sedan (50%+DP)
- Lancer EX
- Corolla Altis
- Hyundai Elantra
- Mazda 3 (though, i head mazda's maintenance isn't cheap)
4. Finance - a 700k to 800k second hand SUV/Pickup (50% DP)
- Montero Sport
- Dmax
- Navara
- Fortuner
Considerations:
1. Hindi masyadong sakit sa ulo (since its my 1st car)
2. Low to mid maintenance cost
Use:
- will just use on weekends and road trips
Additional question: Wiser ba bumili ng 2nd hand MT than a 2nd hand A/T?
Any opinions aside from the list above is open. Thanks in advance!
There's a lot of room. You can still fit half a battery, I think. The battery isn't the highest...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
