January 5th, 2022 10:00 AM #43Well, misconception din na just because its a Toyota, parts are easy to source.
Partially true, siguro in comparison to other makers perhaps (whether Japanese, Korean, US, China, etc.)
But if its a Vios or Avanza... I'm pretty sure you'll find the part you need one way or another.
They don't make `em taxis for no reason
Yun nga lang, asar talo ka when relatives/friends hitch a ride:
"Ser, paki switch on ang metro ha?"

Toyota overtakes GM as the best-selling automaker in US -AUTOINDUSTRIYA
Leading the way was the RAV4 which saw Toyota deliver a total of 407,739 units to customers in the US. This is surprising considering Toyota sold fewer RAV4s compared to 2020 when they were able to sell 430,387 units.

January 6th, 2022 09:29 AM #49“Wag po kayo mag alala, hindi LPG ito!”
Speaking of which, parang wala nang ganun (bec. both drivers and the riding public hated them, para kang high when you get off bec of the large no. of shoddy, fly by night conversions)
What now if you (unwisely) converted your vehicle when the infrastructure is almost no longer existent (LPG stations)?

January 6th, 2022 09:53 AM #50We understand what you’re saying naman. If everybody bought and drove the same things, that would be extremely BORING. Parang communist country (former East Germany- Trabant, etc.)
But as I did say earlier, (kadalasan) ganito yung mga bumibili from what I call "alanganin" manufacturers:
To illustrate my point what happens when a car manufacturer pulls out of the local market, I found a thread here about the Fiat Uno- its a depressing read.
I am currently observing the 2SM battery installed on my MU-X, Yuasa brand. Kaka 1 yr lang nito...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
