    very good question.
    heh heh.

    an old saying,
"nothing comes free, in the automobile industry".
they are very good at squirreling costs, in places that only the astute investigator will find,
probably about as complicated as that accounting scene from the movie, "the accountant" (which i could not understand).

Instead of creating a new thread, can I just hijack this thread?

    Same considerations.

HRV S CVT Honda SENSING = Php. 1.389M
From the reviews underpowered due to power/weight ratio (same engine as the current City). FC will suffer I think. The turbo variants are a bit expensive for me.
Price difference boils down to the engine.

    Toyota Yaris Cross V = Php. 1.296M
PROs: As if hindi Toyota ang gumawa ng interior, hindi tinipid. Among my listed options lamang ang interior / tech nito.
CONs: Rebadged Daihatsu (is it a bad thing)?

    Toyota Corolla Cross G = Php. 1.312M
PROs: Legit na Toyota. Better engine (1.8L)
CONs: The Poverty variant. Nakakalungkot ang interior / tech.

Sir ano na nabili mo? Any updates?

Among your choices, I'd get the cross. Interior / tech can be upgraded. Engine, I personally would not touch/modify especially for a daily driver. Space. You can never upgrade / buy more space for an existing car.

Corolla Cross HU is just insulting. The bezels are bigger than the screen and they plopped it right on top of the dash. The Yaris Cross has a bigger screen but there's a dashboard bolt where my left foot naturally goes to rest.

We were going to settle for the Yaris Cross Hybrid (moonroof) but decided we were willing to entertain Chinese brands since this car will be on a plan and will be replaced after 5 years.

Now it's a tossup between the Coolray, Tiggo Pro 5x Hybrid, and Changan CS55. The Tiggo is in the lead because it looks more corporate than the Coolray. It also has full support for AA and Carplay unlike the Coolray (needs hack) and CS55 (Carplay only).
