Haven't tried, but I've looked into it before. Ang alam ko lahat ng units before mag-start ang auction ay viewable sa kanila. Pero ayun visual lang, I am not sure if pwede i-test drive. So bago ka pumunta ng auction, may idea ka na kung ano gusto mo. I believe as-is-where-is basis din. So if may nakatagong damage pala yung unit, gg. Tbh I doubt na matino na yung units na binebenta nila, most probably napag-pilian na ng mga buy-and-sell dealers yung mga unit nila. Just a hunch cmiiw. Alam ko may concept din of commision (buyer's premium yata?) yung prices so yung nakikita mong price sa FB, dagdagan mo pa ng 5~10%.

Hmr auction buys bank repossessed cars in bulk for very low amount and in lots of 20,30 or 50 cars. Ito yung mga hindi nabenta sa mga repo yards nila kaya mura.

I remember may binili hmr sa office 3 vios, isang camry at isang altis for 1.2 million for the lot. The camry was then re-sold 700k via auction hehe

let us remember,
they're used items.

read carefully po their conditiones of sale.
from what i recall, the items are on "as-is-where-is" basis. there is no guarantee of any sort, regarding the condition of the car.
if there is something glaringly wrong with the car that they know of, they will tell you. aside from that, "caveat emptor".
they're auctioneers, not mechanics.

if one knows how to size up cars, this may be a good place to source for bayan sellers.

Aside from cars, Parang divisoria Ang tingin ko sa hmr, if you don't know the price chances are mas mura pa sa Mall. Usually unpopular brands Ang sell nila and if it's true na no warranty ito, then risky

Ang hindi ko gusto sa auction pag may kalaban ka na bidder na 2nd hand dealer. Pag nag bid ka ng mas mataas sa max bid niya yayariin ka, magbibid para lang tumaas ang price.

Kala ko sa hmr may inspection na allowed before bidding? Kung wala e talo naman agad ang buyer nun kasi lahat ng risks nasa sa kanya.
