lol * land yacht. doc, just like the old crown, I find it hard to drive because of the size. I have an easier time driving the gen 1 Pajero (na ang issue ko naman kabagalan) hahaha!

if my relative succeeds in convincing me to get the vintage gen 1 pajero,
i'll brag about it here.

i remember those early pajeros.
we easily overtake it in our old bolswagen in the expressway going to px stores in clark.
but at my age... bagay na bagay nah!

If I was given a Camry as a company car, I’d drive it daily to work except on coding days. That means fuel expense is also paid for by the company.

I guess I don’t see any difference in fuel expense if I am driving a Camry or Accord compared to our FXT or ASX.

For me, pag may company car, no need to buy a separate car (unless you need it for someone else).

Free amortization, free gas, free maintenance, free insurance. That's easily about 30-40k per month depending on the company car given.

mas Ok yung late Gen 1 Pajero with the Turbo engine. Has more power for overtaking. the early Gen 1 pajero's had a non-turbo engine which was quite slow, hirap mag overtake.

I also had an Old subic J-top gen1 pajero in the late 90's. The ones that was imported from Eastern european countries. Gas engine but nice car and enjoyable to drive during those days.

Nakakabaliw talaga pag bibili ng 2nd hand. Ahahaha
Daily ako nagbabasa at nakatingin sa market place.
Nagbago na naman isip ko.

Monty naman nagustuhan ko.
Ang ganda ng 2016 yung mga 3rd gen..
Ipon lang ng matindi hanggang December.

Pero pag hindi talaga kinaya, 2015 na monty siguro yung mga nasa 700k.

Any comments sa monty 2015 AT?
Nagbabasa basa ako about SUA mukang hindi naman talaga totoo na meron.
Pero parang naiisip ko pag yun dala ko baka laging pumasok sa isip ko na "BAAKA MAG SUA" bigla ang monty gen2.

Yun din comment ni misis, hindi naman sya maalam sa sasakyan pero un kase yung mga nalaman nyang news dati about monty.

Pero if swertehin pa 2016 na lowest variant next target, kailangan lang mahapit ang pag ipon. At hindi magmadali.

I have a ninong in his mid 60s. I remember in the 90s and 2000s, his garage consisted of a Starex, a couple of Jimnys, a box type Pajero, a converted 90 series Prado, a modified LN106 Hilux and one of the first top of the line Fortuners which he fitted with Concept One 22s (ang tagtag!). Fast forward to today, he now has a Terra, a GL Grandia Tourer, a Mazda CX30, a Subaru XV, a Honda HRV... You get the picture. [emoji1787]

My initial target for 2nd hand was the Montero Sport 3rd gen.
Hirap makahanap ng unit before pandemic.
I even saw Montero 2016 GLS Premium at 1.08m at that time but was already sold out.
I only saw Montero 2016+ GLS variant at 1.1m+ which is just too much for a second hand for me.
Here comes the pandemic, naglabasan na mga magagandang units.

You can now even see in marketplace a 2019 GLS Premium or 2020 GLS for sale.
And you can now see GLS models at less than 1m.

Unfortunately, I am not anymore looking for a 2nd hand unit.
