September 3rd, 2020 12:36 AM #31I get around 6km/L city and around 12 highway. Many people get way better gas mileage than me, especially in city driving. General consensus of folks I've asked seems to be 7-8. Perhaps mine didn't have a good break in? Or simply because I have a heavy foot? Most likely both. [emoji23] Ang lakas kasi humatak, nakakaadik at nakakasanay. Bilis tuloy napupudpod gulong ko sa harap. [emoji28]

Update.

September 8th, 2020 02:14 AM #33Its ok. But electronics can be finicky and replacements expensive. So you have to make sure you are not getting a money pit. IMHO, fuel consumption varies because of different traffic conditions and driving styles. If in good condition and driven reasonably, it should match the fuel consumption of your typical 1.6 sedan.
Do not be in a hurry if you can help it. Do not use up all of your budget on the car itself. Always set aside a sizeable amount for possible repairs.

Update:
Nakakabaliw talaga pag bibili ng 2nd hand. Ahahaha
Any comments sa monty 2015 AT?
Salamaaat

October 21st, 2020 01:29 AM #36Hindi totoo yung SUA dahil sa mechanical fault only. Lahat ng SUA videos, walang Montero naka on brake light habang humaharurot.
Pero naka Montero ako before, magkakamali ka talaga lalo if malapad shoes mo, kasi pantay height ng brake and accelerator pedals tapos magkalapit din. Pwede pa mag ishift from P to R or D kahit hindi naka apak sa brake.
Sa engine and transmission panalo.

October 21st, 2020 01:58 AM #37Well take your time. Especially if you are not in urgent need. I have driven a 2013 Strada, and I have to say that performance is pretty good. 185km/h at 3500rpm. Very laggy throttle response, though probably nothing a reflash won't fix. Interior feels kinda cheap, especially if used to the Santa Fe. The GTV's got the Pajero's legendary 4x4 system though, so that's something.

October 21st, 2020 09:18 AM #39been there. done that.
my first car was a sedan.
then a van, because my babies needed a place for the stroller and the kitchen sink.
when they got too big for the stroller, innova naman. i had wanted a fortuner, but the waiting line was eight months long.
now, in my senior years, i have decided that a well-designed sedan is much easier to drive than the innova.
i have a 2003 altis, but they didn't measure me when they designed it.
i'm looking around for a good buy...
the tagtag factor may be deceptively minimal if one is the driver. we should ask the passengers behind for their opinions.Last edited by dr. d; October 21st, 2020 at 09:26 AM.

With two crossovers we primarily use, I wish the other one was a sedan if we just had access to those two vehicles only. However, we do have sedans we can use.
However, if you need a practical family hauler, then a diesel-fed 7-seater PPV is a good choice. If you are being more practical, then the multi-purpose Innova can do whatever the Fort or Monty can do.

For a 7-seater under 1 million, the Suzuki Ertiga is definitely one of the best options — it’s...
