September 30th, 2019 12:54 PM #12Acquired the Altis last 2014, with 35,000 kms. Now it already logged 105,000 kms, so far these are the only parts i replaced:
-Front and rear shock absorbers (not really worn out, I replaced it lang agad when i found signs of leakage). Front shocks replaced April 2018, Rears replaced June 2019.
-Rack and Pinion bushing (a common issue of this Altis), was replaced by Exalta Banawe last April 2018. They replaced it with a polyurethane bushing.
-Oil change every 5,000 kms/ or 6 months, whichever comes first. I only use Shell Helix HX5 mineral oil (15W-40)
So far very satisfied with it, very smooth and comfortable for its age. Only complaint with the car is the tight rear legroom.
Car is daily driven, and being our only vehicle, it's still being used for out of town family trips
I feel the same way. Not a fan.
