July 13th, 2008 03:34 PM #2Rockford is an old respected brand in car audio. Early 90's pa lang sikat na ang Rockford. They made their reputation on their amps and subs. Their old school amps are really something else.
Is it the best for you, it depends on what you want to achive, what you like and how much you want to spend. Best advice is to audition or listen to systems and then decide.
Most brands have several seps available. May entry level, middle and high end. Of course the more expensive you go the better it will sound.
Other brands you may want to look at are: Alpine, Boston Accoustic, DSL, Focal, Image Dynamics, Infinity, JBL and Polk.

collusus,
ang laki naman ng text mo.
i use the power p126c (ata yun) and it sounds superb. but like uerfriendly said there are a lot of alternatives. Focal and DLS come to my mind.
depends on what you want to achieve and your budget.

they are good entry level speakers imo. but you can find better.
userfriendly's list is a good starting point, but he lists a very wide range of price points - from entry level to very high end. pero i search mo na lang at tignan mo kung ano swak sa budget...

audition is the key. hehe. but to answer your quesion, yup maganda rin ang RF. may narinig na ko niyan and ok naman sa pandinig ko. pero as what they said, marami pang iba diyan. audition ka muna ng ibat-ibang brand then decide.

If you feel like your into it of the Rockford Fosgate, go ahead they are not bad speakers.
Audition with other brand can help you only a little, its not much of a help. Remember, reproducing the stage of the music you want has something to do with the component in your sound system and how you adjusted. But it's mainly a matter of the proper selection of placement and installation of your speakers.
Kung nakapunta kana sa mga stereo shop, can you see the placement of thier speakers and the area of where you listening the music. Have'nt you notice there speakers are facing forward to the front of your face not behind the head or on the floor? Yan ang tinatawag na STEREO IMAGING and STAGING. So regardless of speakers your using, you can achive the maximum staging if install they right way. Pagtatawanan mo ang mas mahal na speakers if they install it poorly. You can ask this to any
CAR STEREO TUNER to make believe. Go with that FOSGATE. Good luck....

Ofcourse it is. Its an old school brand that boast itself with good amps, like what those guys said...really depends on your impeccable taste per se, what kind of sound you wanna achieve...
