Avanza J - Interior Upgrade and Installation of Power Windows
The first Avanza J interior upgrade and installation of power windows:
So, the first thing I did is I ordered to marfin the door trims and power window switches (from Indonesia)... hence they are not available here in the Phils...How much? 23k all in all, 3k is for the tax. Door trims can be easily installed, you can do it yourself (DIY).
When they all arrived here, the first thing you will do is connect the terminal lugs (kasama sa package ni Marfin) to each terminal of the switches...The reason for this is walang kasama socket yung mga switches. Kung bibili ka sa casa kasama wiring harness worth 3-5k 1 door palang yun....so you'll need the ff.
1. Auto wire #16 (approx 4 mts) putol putulin ng approx 6 inches
2. heat shrinkable tube (2 mts)
3. blower
4. wire stripper
5. cutter
6. tester
7. cable tie
Balatan mo yung dulo ng wire then connect mo sa lugs (yung naka plastic na maliit na terminal) then crimp it using long nose, cutter or crimper/stripper. Lagyan ng heat shrinkable tube then i-blower
then insert mo sa mga switches
eto kalalabasan, then put cable tie in such a way na di mahuhugot
Next is to bring your car to Banawe, or any other accessory store or shop that install power windows... I chose Madison bcoz may space sila sa loob (indoor type). Kilala ko pa may ari mabait sya, kung may problema balik mo lang.
In my case di nila kabisado yung switches na galing sa Indo, di nila makuha yung terminal, so I traced it myself using yung digram na provided ni marfin and posted here in tsikot.

Re: Avanza J - Interior Upgrade and Installation of Power Windows
And the finish product...
FYI, yung door lock pala bitin, I guess mas mahaba ang connecting rod ng G. nilagyan ko lang ng pang pa sikip yung thread ginamit ko teplon tape, so ok na. Nagkamali ako dun sa quarter cover sa may side mirror. Sinundan ko yung guhit sa likod maiksi pala di yun ang sukat so yung passenger side bitin so balak ko bumili nun sa casa.
Nag canvass din ako ng power windows sa casa, 10k isang door palang, plus wiring harness 3 to 4k per door, plus 5k sa may dash, grabe taga nila
Malaki tulong pala yung diagram ni sir Marfin. Without it baka hangga ngayon pinag-aaralan ko kasi di kaya ng mga installer.Last edited by shadow3616931; July 14th, 2008 at 05:51 PM.
Will wonders never cease with Motolite? Ha ha.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
