Sympre naman pwede na yan i-wax. Fully cured na ang paint nyan paglabas ng factory. Ang hindi pa pwede i-wax ay yung newly painted cars. You need to wait 30-60 days (depends on actual paint) before waxing to let the paint fully cure.

Ano ba purpose ng wax? Among others, wax..

- Improves vehicle appearance and cleanliness
- Protects paint from UV rays and fading
- Protects paint from dirt and grime
- Prevents oxidation

Waxes (and sealants) are sacrificial barriers. They will fade in time so you need to re-apply when it's gone.

Ano pa kailangan gawin before waxing your new car?

Check the paint condition. If matagal na-stock sa factory floor or casa ang sasakyan, possible na may embedded contaminants yan. You need to clay the paint to remove embedded contaminants. If hindi maayos ang pagka-buff, possible may swirl marks yan. Inspect in direct sunlight or use a flashlight. You need to polish the paint to remove swirl marks.

A polish is an abrasive substance that levels the paint surfaces and removes the likes of minor scratches.

A wax is a hard substance (when cured) layered on your car as protection.
