What defines if a vehicle is PHUV or not?

Is this just limited to the one being developed by MVMAP or Anfra or whoever? Is it just because they used the PHUV name?

How about the ones produced by Norkis? Most notably the Spider because this one already uses an original chassis unlike the other Norkis models (AFAIK). If so, why isn't there a big support for the likes of Norkis which I've partially seen in the MVMAP PHUV?

that is what i am point out..MVMAP should not use the name "Pinoy Utility Vehicle" to market his car.

Its like putting words in the Filipino's mouth that this is the vehicle of their choice.

Norkis does not call their legacy cars "Pinoy small car".

Sorry, I dont feel that way, the MVPMAP PhUV deserves to be on the line-up of PhUV. Duh! Its still not the name thats why they were asking for it in the launch in Market Market. So maybe you should go outside and shout it off. I am already sickened of your redundant posts.

Lets go back to the topic it was intended to be, and were not talking about the name of the PhUV here... We are defining it.

Well, the idea is that the MVPMAP will use all-new components (whether or not all components are developed in the Philippines), whereas Norkis's vehicles have a lot of secondhand components. If the Spider is all-new underneath, though, (New as in not secondhand... not new as in sophisticated), it could be considered such.

IMHO, anything locally sourced and assembled can be considered a PhUV... the Ford Fiera, for one... or the Anfra vehicles.

I agree... it shouldn't be used as a brand or model name, but as a class name. But still, having PhUV stamped on the back of your vehicle is a good way to build up support for the product.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    I agree 100%

What's in a name: PHUV
