A radiator top is a release valve for excess heat and pressure. If the radiator doesn't give way, it's possible the head gasket could. And that'd be a more expensive problem than a cracked radiator.
Your choice, though.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

October 9th, 2009 10:50 PM #6Guys,
i have 16 years experience sa design and manufacturing of radiators, at ito yung pwede ko ma share sa inyo:
1. By weight basis mas magaan ang radiator na gawa sa plastic & aluminum compared to brass-copper (doble ang bigat).
2. In terms of thermal conductivity ng materials:
a) Aluminum : 220 W/m-c
Tubes : Aluminum
Fins : Aluminum
b) Copper : 380 W/m-c
Tubes : Brass coated with solder
Fins : Copper
* Mas mataas ang thermal conductivity ng copper, but this will have
minimal increase in the cooling performance.
3. Plastic tank is repairable but short life, mas maganda ang brass tank mas madali ma repair.
>>> Plastic-aluminum radiator is best suited in low ambient temp.
>>> Brass-Copper radiator is best suited in tropical countries like the
Philippines
In addition dito sa atin we are only making conventional brass tubes coated with solder while the aluminum tubes they come with different enhancements such as dimpled tubes, internal turbulators, etc.
