Help: Pumapasok usok sa loob!

When I use Aircon, I can smell the outside air. Especially when there is a smoke belcher in front or pag meron nagsisiga sa daan, the smoke penetrates and blown inside.

A taxi driver said to me that it is my AC evaporator that has a problem. Is this true?

^nope, the problem is your air vent, air circulating vent yata ang tawag....you can have it permanently shut off pag nagpa cleaning ka ng A/C, unless ginagamit mo siya...

common ganyan sira pag medyo luma na ang car...

check mo rin while the a/c blower is off. pag meron, check mo firewall baka wala na mga goma and tuloy tuloy na outside air. kung pag naka a/c on lang sa vent nga.

What is the ac evap got to do with it? The culprit is the vent flaps not totally shut. When your ac is switched to circulation mode, the flaps shuts off preventing outside air to sip inside the cabin. Vent flaps has attached foam to seal off outside air from coming in. These sealing foams gets worn out in time especially on old vehicles thus the problem with outside air getting in.

Ganun din sa esi ko, amoy mo yung usok ng mga jeep pag nakahinto sa stoplight. Saan kaya pwedeng ipagawa ito? Thanks sa lahat.

sabay mo na pag nagpalinis ka ng a/c para mas madaling masilip kung saan galing. and kung libre ka take time na silipin ang ilalim ng dash at ang firewall sa engine bay, takpan lahat ng pwedeng takpan like loose grommets etc.

up ko lang to. ganito din kasi problem ko sa lancer pizza ko. yung pagtakip ba ng mga butas, kaya na gawin sa mga aircon shops?

mga magkano ba abutin pag magpalinis ng aircon?

Sa akin naman pumapasok lang yung mainit na hangin sa may condenser pati sa may pedal pag naka open lang ung window. pero pag naka close lahat ng window even the aircon is not ON wala ng hot air na pumapasok. palagay nyo ano kaya problem ng auto ko. kaya ba sa duct tape solution? what i mean is lagyan ko na lang ng mga tapes yung mga gomang di na kumakapit sa engine bay? i know this is just a short term solution. ano po kaya best thing to do aside replacing all the rubbers? TIA
