Windshield treatment?

Effective ba yung mga pinapahid sa widshield na nagpreprevent daw ng water streaks at water drops?

Nakaka-improve ba talaga to ng visibility pag umuulan? at safe ba to sa paint ng kotse?


Nakita ko to once sa infomercial at may nakita din ako sa Ace na turtlewax ang brand.

follow up: kung rain-x gagamitin ko, how do I prep the windshield before I apply it?

Do i need to use a glass cleaner? If so, which one?

yep. Rain-X, used it since 1996.

there's nothing better pre than to have your windshield Rubbed na lang. Using this treatmens does work in a short time but exposure again to everyday elements lalo na here sa manila is useless. Oily kse ang air natin because of pollution kaya even you apply these liquids bale wala. Napakasimple lang naman ng Glass, basta walang nakakapit na dumi ayos yan.

Streaks are caused by the oils adhering on the glass, so anong pang alis? clean it with detergent soap (avoid bath soaps) then wipe it clean with crumpled paper. Jst remember to flush the soap thouroughly coz it might leave a white streak on your paint (but not permanent). I sell and used those prods b4, la kwenta. Ni rurub ko na lang yun windhields ko w/ rubbing compounds (finest grit) pag malala na yun streak.

One more thing to remember is yun blades mo, if its old opr has been exposed to the sun for a year or 2, for sure bungi na yan, so for that case i use yun wiper up naman so dust wouldn't accumulate on the blades and @ d same time if i use it, no dust will slice thru my blades.

ngayon, I use silicone blades na apat na blade per wiper instead of just one

once a month, I wipe my blades with a damp cloth para pogi. well, para alisin yung mga alikabok which can smudge yung visibility mo pag nabasa.
