Finchy, you had 3M installed? what shade? Normally 3M heals less than a week.

LAcars, thanks for your explanation. i guess i'll just have to wait until the tint dries out. i've had it for about a month now, and the view does get distracting. can you be more specific when you say that it takes months to heal? i also notice that i don't get that rainbow effect/glare on my door and rear glass, only on my windshield. how could this be?

i think in some tints meron talaga yung rainbow effects pag natamaan ng ilaw, like for solar gard (magic dark and medium) ganon sya talaga.

im thinking of putting rike cool also. this characteristic, would you say that it bothers you enough that it distracts you from driving safely? or is it something that you just notice, and maybe you'll get used to it in time? tia for your comments maybe it's because of the sputtered metal that's embedded into the tint (if it has sputtered metal).

i can drive safely with it, but the multiple reflection from the tint bothers my view. personally, it's something i can't live with. in fact, i'm planning to bring it back to the store for replacement if the condition doesn't improve. your tolerance may be quite different, though.

    bm5er, kookai, warbird,

may i ask if ok na yung Rike Cool nyo? its been over a month since u had them installed. From the feedback of LAcars, dapat wala na yung rainbow/glare effect di ba? Am interested to know kasi I am also thinking of putting Rike Cool on my windshield. Thanks.

May I also ask how would you know an original Rike Cool from a fake? Can anyone share this info or point us to a website/link? I was told may fake din daw na Rike Cool.

bro naka super white bulbs kaba? baka it has something to do with it di kaya? pansin ko sakin pag bukas ko ng headlight ko which is 6000k labas lahat ng rainbow effect e. after mag set na yung color ng bulb ko nawawala narin rainbow effect. my tint is solar gard, rainbow effect may be due to the metal spurt in it.
