My rule of thumb prior to deciding for wiper blades change out... thoroughly cleaning the windshield first and then test the wipers how it glide.
Usually i go for bosch banana type as replacement.

Paglabas pa lang sa casa napansin ko na maingay yung wiper sa driver side so I bought a new pair of NWB from True Value. Nabawasan naman and ingay..
Instead of replacing the wipers with a new set, bumili na lang ako ng refill pero maingay pa rin.

You can try "glass polishing" of big bert's. I had this done back in 2006 when the vehicle was new. Before that, I had the same experience as yours as well as every other new car I had back then. After the glass polishing, never experienced the problem anymore even upto this day.
I observed how they did it, which you can DIY if you have the right equipment. They applied rubbing compound (if I'm not mistaken) on the glass. Let it settle. Used an orbital power tool to polish it off. You need glass cleaner to remove the dried residue of the rubbing compound.
