I have sketches. But I have to scan them. But I do have a lot of blueprints myself.![]()
Im working on a van. Probably a LWB and a SWB version (SWB is for the 4WD version) I am also thinking of a very competitive angles.

the blueprints are very useful for measurement comparisons between what is out there and what we are designing para realistic talaga. does your blueprint have measurements? whats the resolution of those blueprints that you have? mas malaki, mas maganda para madaling sukatin.
Hi guys...! Im also new to this thread and I am glad to see the enthuasiasm in you.. Just want to ask if anybody here resort to making scale model after finishing your designs? I think its a nice idea and cheaper too so that you can actually see how your drawings would look like in the final prototype... Because even the big manufacturers they still do clay modeling before deciding to roll out into final protoype.... Just asking.
Magandang umaga po! I have difficulty uploading my file which shows my proposed PhUV design concept. Can anyone here help me to upload the file.
Salamat po!
i havent tried uploading files as attachments. what i do is: upload the file to a free file server for photos(photobucket is good - wala yata bandwidth limit). then copy the links of the images you want displayed in this forum. tapos paste the copied link location. should look like this:
""
Hi OYIL!
Magandang tahghali po! Can I send to you my file (i need ur email add) and kindly upload it in behalf of the members here. You can chat me at palo2k*yahoo.com im online now.
Salamat po!
Kabayan Oyil,
Ive already send the jpg files to your hotmail account. Thank you for your prompt assistance.
Guys,
I think it's about time that we should support such effort as this. Our only problem is the lack of government concern. For we Filipinos are very creative & artistic in nature. Look at Norkis multi-cabs it selling like hot cake.
Changing the topic...what will be the engine brand for this PhUV. Like the Hyundai Accent before they have Mitsubishi & Daewoo have the Opel.

What is a PhUV?
The PhUV (Philippine Utility Vehicle) is a Filipino vehicle: for Pinoys, made by 50,000 Filipino workers from over 300 Philippine made and assembled autoparts. It is designed to carry both people and cargo, thus it is ideal for business use on weekdays and family use on weekends.

Why the need for the PhUV:
Through the years, we have witnessed the steady decline of local auto parts manufacturers and currently, most of what is left of our membership are operating at only 40% of their rated plant capacities. There are about 45,000 workers dependent on the local parts industry and its support industries and thus, MVPMAP saw the need to look for a vehicle that will hopefully revive the industry, a move similar to what our Asean neighbors have done – look for a niche and serve it!! We are expecting the Philippine Utility Vehicle (PhUV) Program to do this as we believe it can be the much-needed catalyst to revive our ailing local auto parts industry.

Please come to the exhibit at Market Market and support the local manufacturing industry!!!

dprox,
Actually, I'm from Cavite. the potential of the PHUV here is huge. Why? because Cavitenos will definitely buy a product as long as it has the quality not matter where it is made. But of course as the so-called land of the heroes we can always tap the nationalism of our people. For instance, it is stipulated in our constitution that there must be preference to local products and labor. If I'm not mistaken there is an E.O. (Executive Order) that directs government offices to prioritize local procurement. In other words, the PHUV proponents and perhaps you dprox et al---if you will push through with the PHUV prototype, you can market the vehicle to the national government and the LGUs. I believe that our newly-elected governor will be the first one who will buy for the LGUs here.
To sell, a PHUV must have multiple fuctions. LGUs need people carrier (12-15 seaters), patrol (barangay or municipal) vehicles(open or close vans), ambulances, police vehicles etc. Its a matter of marketing, advocacy and with government support.
At the same time, we Filipinos should STOP thinking that our products are inferior or we as an inferior race incapable of doing great things. Again, for crying out loud, for OTHER COUNTRIES TO RESPECT US, WE SHOULD RESPECT OUR SELVES FIRST AND FOREMOST!
We are not lacking in capability--in Cavite, you can ask a talyer to assemble a vehicle for you i.e. jeeps etc. they can do it without high tech machines, sophisticated gadgets and hi-tech production techniques (ala nga manual or diagram e, kaya it is an enigma how these mekaniko and latero can produce machines at naidadaan lang sa pasipat-sipat. kaya bilib mga Hapon sa atin). What more if we have the machines and technology of the "big boys?" ( or are we prevented from having such because we might become their potential competitor). Look at those AUVs from Iloilo, Cebu, Cavite and Pampanga--hypothetically what if these backyard assemblers were given the necessary tools? (in this globalized world, technology can be purchased, "over-the-counter" ---look at those psychos in the USA, they can assemble bombs and guns via the internet or hobbyists that can assemble planes in their backyard--- as long as if the price is right or someboby will put the money),I think they can come up with a respectable vehicle at par with other vehicles from other countries.
Dprox with oyil, architect lead the way! Tsikoteers let us also support the PHUV project!![]()
Hello foifoi05. Great stuff you posted here. The balut reminds me of Luigi Colani's "Yellow Egg" city car.
However, it had to be moved to the concept cars and OTJ threads, still in this Forum, since this thread is strictly for the Tsikot PhUV project. The thread links are at http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38537 and
http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37553.
When the Tsikot Design & Research Forum embarks on an OTJ-based OPV Minicar design project, your sketches will be on page 1 -- promise.
BTW, if you can find the time, could you sketch some improvements to the recently launched MVPMAP PhUV? You can post it at the MVPMAP PhUV feedback thread at http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38879.
For IP concerns, make sure you sign all your drawings. Thanks.

Moved your reply to the concept cars thread, too.

Uy, OT yan dito a!![]()
Yung MVPMAP, I mean.![]()
Anyway, if there's no objection, maybe should begin a thread for posting our kids' auto sketches. Who knows? They could become the automotive designers who can serve the OPV industry in the near future!
Strictly for Tsikoteers' kids. Do we have consensus on this?
Let's do it anyway.
*drpox, I am all for it.

Hey Lio, is that a pair of upside-down feet in the third row in your daughter's sketch?![]()
